Winneconne Community School District

School District

The Winneconne Community School District has an outstanding reputation for quality education in the State of Wisconsin. Winneconne’s school system prides itself in offering small class sizes, a diversified curriculum, outstanding educators and administrators, and wide range of extracurricular involvements. The district has repeatedly shown itself to be a leader in education for the past two decades, and consistently ranks first in Winnebago County and surrounding districts for state-wide standardized testing performance.

The Winneconne area remains committed to the success of its school system, and as a result have created a unique link between the community and school through a program called Building the WAY (Winneconne Area Youth). Building the WAY connects Winneconne youth with community leaders and focuses on improving lifestyles and opportunities for our students, helping to create a sense of ownership and pride in their community.

The Winneconne Community School District serves the Winneconne and Butte des Morts areas, including the Townships of, Poygan, Vinland, Winchester, and portions of the Townships of Clayton, Wolf River and Oshkosh. A map of the School District is available (in PDF format).
