Teen Service League
(Social Event)
Ages 14 - 18, or entering freshmen through seniors (middle school students may participate but will not receive community service hours) Pre-registration required.
Intended to introduce high school teen to volunteer opportunities in the community, the group will meet every Thursday from 11am-1pm to discuss and participate in volunteer projects. The group will be presented a list of opportunities from which they will choose how they would like to volunteer as a group to make a difference in the community. They will then set dates and times to complete the projects. Students will earn community service hours toward graduation. Some of the meetings will be social meetings. It is not necessary to attend every Thursday meeting, but participants should be available for service projects. Dates and times will vary depending on projects undertaken.
