Monday Morning Moms

At the Library

Calling all moms and toddlers – the library is the place to be Monday mornings! A new program, Monday Morning Moms, has made a home at the Winneconne Public Library. This story and playtime program is designed for moms and toddlers three and younger.

The group met for the first time May 11 and will continue to meet every Monday through July 17. The group meets at 10 a.m. and the program lasts about one hour – or longer if the conversation and advice is good and kids are happy!

The program is designed to offer moms a support system and toddlers a chance to interact and learn through stories and free play. The Winnebago County Health Department was at the first meeting and shared important information about its services and the hot topic, swine flu and pandemics. The program will continue to have guest speakers on a variety of different topics and will be happy to take suggestions from moms too.
