General Store Moves
To Main
Street
General Store owner Jan
Fasel could not be happier to be all moved in to her new gift shop
on Main Street in Winneconne. She moved the shop from Ninth Avenue
by the laundromat where it was operated for nearly a year, but kept
her hopes up the right store front would come along downtown.
The official ribbon cutting
ceremony was held last Friday and members of the Chamber of Commerce
and village board helped her cut the ribbon and gave a warm welcome.
Fasel said, “I’m thrilled to be in this new location, but I must
give the community a huge thank you for keeping me going at the old
shop.” The General Store is now located at 208 W. Main Street.
