Fisherman's Paradise On the Wolf River

Fishing at Winneconne and the surrounding lakes has been nationally famous for over a century. It is a year 'round sport. Winter fishing through the ice produces excellent catches of pike, northern and perch. In mid-April the spring "Walleye Run" on the Wolf River, followed by the famous "White Bass Run" attracts many sportsmen. The dock at Lang's Landing, is a great place to fish those runs.

The Winneconne area offers over 50 miles of river running for the boater. Add to that the lakes of Winneconne, Poygan, Butte des Morts and Winnebago, offer all sorts of water sports and beautiful site-seeing. In the winter we have hundreds of miles of connecting snowmobile trails as well as some great ice fishing and cross country skiing.
