3. President’s Report
- went right into Old and New Business
4. Old and New Business
- Holiday on the Wolf: Didn’t have many people due to the weather, but it was
still a good turnout considering the conditions.
- Annual Dinner: Inviting about 130 people, invitations to be mailed out first
week of January. Still considering whether or not to get a
speaker.
- Information Center Landscaping: BJ’s Nursery is drawing a map up for us of
a potential design. We will then get it
approved and send out letters asking for
donations
- Sign on Visitors Center: Suggestions to change the sign will be taken. Tom
Jennerjohn from Signs Now name was brought forth
for possible design. Also, talk about replacing it with
sign by boat landing was discussed. Either way, both
signs need to have something done with them.
- Newsletter and Business After Hours: We are starting a Newsletter that will
be distributed quarterly. Also, we will
be starting up a Bus. After Hours, and
having be a social gathering, looking
start that in March.
- Car Show: Chamber to possibly sponsor.
- Insurance: Doug Nelson made a motion and Tim seconded to drop insurance
on the sign to $5000 and add $2000 to office equipment
- Sportsmen Show: Doug presented the idea for the Chamber to set up a booth
and do a raffle at the Sportsmen Show at Critter’s in March
- Fireworks: Tim said the firefighters would like to give money towards them,
and Doug is to check on prices and get letter out to Tim about it.
- Election: We had a unanimous election with Helen Thomson elected to
President, Andy Beiser-Vice President, Deb Bartel, Past President,
Doug Nelson, Tim Scheider, Dennis Reimer on board.
